Day 1 of none

So I did not make it out to the gym today. I had a lot of excuses working in my favor. I worked long hours at the restaurant between Sunday & Monday night (both over 8 hr shifts). Not getting home from work until well past 3am and being wide awake at 8:30am did not help in the energy and motivation level either.

Plus after last night I believe I am starting to develop some severe Plantar Fasciitis in my left foot. I could feel it on Sunday, but it progressed far worse on Monday and today it is a numbing pain I just feel in the bottom of my foot. I am going to pick up a compression sock and try wearing one the rest of the work and to work on Saturday night to see how I will feel. Sunday, if I begin to feel better, I will attempt the start to my “running comeback.” (term used loosely)

Fingers crossed this is only a temporary setback. I have heard horrible stories from the girls in the restaurant business who have had PF for several months and the severe pains it could cause. I have hoping for no injuries this year so I am looking to really get a jump on it before anything to serious develops.
